American Kenpo Karate Kids

Do you want your child to have the self-confidence, focus, and discipline that will help them live happy successful lives? So do we! The skills they will learn in our classes will give them this, and much more.

How learning a martial art will benefit your child

  • Focus and concentration
  • How to set and accomplish goals
  • Mutual respect and empathy
  • Self-confidence and leadership skills

These are just a few of the great benefits you get from our courses. Learning self-defense with a martial art means learning how to defend yourself. And our course offers so much more than just the physical act of blocking, kicking, and punching; it teaches you how to handle yourself even without physical confrontation. The best way to win a fight, is to not get in one!

Research shows:

  • Children who learn a martial art become more assertive and less aggressive.
  • Children who know how to defend themselves usually don't have to, because they carry themselves in a more confident manner, and confidence alone is a deterrent to bullies.
  • Children who train in the martial arts learn the value in setting goals and following through to achieve them.
  • Children who achieve their Black Belt have a higher tendency to become leaders in society.
